Ms. Knechtel is a fellow member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Tennessee Academy of Physician Assistants, and is currently a principal faculty member and assistant professor with the Milligan College Physician Assistant Program in northeast Tennessee.

This is an absolutely great book. For the entry level health care professional, this book provides an enormous amount of in depth information that will help you kick start your understanding of EKGs while being a great resource in the future as you start putting it all together. For everyone else, this book will reinforce and strengthen your already basic knowledge of EKGs while at the same time providing information that usually takes years of experience to glean. The clinical points are useful gems! I have several books on EKGs and cardiology that are excellent, but I rank this book at the top for its presentation of material. The book provides a high degree of technical information, but is written and presented in such a way that is easy to understand. I highly recommend it!

Great book. I work in cardiology and probably knew 85% of the material but the other 15% was great and the book in all was a simple read.

For anyone learning 12 leads, this book has some helpful pieces and practice EKGs with a great price, but I felt it lacked good explanations for each teaching point. Overall I was disappointed.

This book is completely amazing and outstanding! I enjoyed every second of it and found it very hard to put it down! I loved reading about how the 3 of them went from nothing to something special! It has inspired me to go so much further with my horse! After reading this I went straight to my horse and thought about how much they had accomplished as a team and I have planned what I want to be doing with my horse and myself! This is a truly inspirational book that I have really enjoyed reading! I can't wait for the others to come out! These sisters are my heroes and I am going back to my horse with such a positive and determined attitude that I wouldn't of had without reading this book!! I loved every little bit of it! It was such a great read! Truly special!

Terrible map--really dishonest description. "Waterproof" makes it sound like it's laminated, but this is just a flimsy paper map that's all but useless when you're trying to read it while touring on the streets. Can't stand up to even the slightest outdoor breeze. To add insult to injury, the colors are washed out making for very poor contrast.

This map appeared to be okay until we tried to actually use in Prague. It doesn't show all of the streets. There are a lot of twists and turns in old town Prague and we couldn't use this map at all. It did not even list all of the side streets. We had to use the free one from the hotel. If you are going to make a map without all of the streets, don't bother. Some people actually depend upon maps when they are on the ground trying to navigate.

I love to use Lonely Planet travel related books since 1986. They have never let me down.

Perfect for sightseeing. Exactly what I wanted. Detailed and highlighted for tourists.
