The illustration could be much better and the letter U and V threw me off completely. It's a good starter book to help young children learn about AS history.
This a good introduction book to share the Black history to your children. I wish the illustrated pictures were done a little better. But overall this is a good children's guide to Black History. Well done to Craig Thompson. We need more books like this available.

My 6 y/o son loves this book. The rhyming makes learning about history easy and fun.
