About the Author
In 1981, due to an intense personal trauma, Paul Levy had a life-changing spiritual awakening in which he began to recognize the dreamlike nature of reality. During the first year of his spiritual emergence, Paul was hospitalized a number of times and was told he was having a severe psychotic break from reality. Fortunately, he was able to extricate himself from the medical and psychiatric establishment so that he could continue his process of self-discovery. In the late 1980s he became the manager of the C. G. Jung Foundation Book Service in New York, as well as the advertising manager for the Jungian journal Quadrant. He later moved to Portland, Oregon, where he began sharing his ideas about the dreamlike nature of reality by giving talks and facilitating interest groups. Paul is the author of Dispelling Wetiko: Breaking the Curse of Evil, Awakened by Darkness: When Evil Becomes Your Father, and The Madness of George W. Bush: A Reflection of Our Collective Psychosis. A Tibetan Buddhist practitioner for more than thirty years, Paul has intimately studied with some of the greatest spiritual masters of Tibet and Burma. Paul is the founder of the Awakening in the Dream community in Portland, Oregon. He was also the coordinator of the Portland chapter of the Padmasambhava Buddhist Center for over twenty years.^Jean Houston, Ph.D., scholar, philosopher and researcher in Human Capacities, is one of the foremost visionary thinkers and doers of our time. As a high school student she worked closely with another First Lady of the United States, Eleanor Roosevelt, in developing strategies to introduce international awareness and United Nations work to young people. Since 2003, she has been working with the United Nations Development Program, training leaders in human and cultural development as well as in Social Artistry, a community-leadership training program that she developed. Together with other international agencies and companies, over the last 45 years, Dr. Houston has worked in over 100 countries. In 1965, along with her husband Dr. Robert Masters, Dr. Houston founded The Foundation for Mind Research. She is also the founder and principal teacher, since 1983, of the Mystery School, now called the Renaissance of Spirit, a school of human development, a program of cross-cultural, mythic and spiritual studies, dedicated to teaching history, philosophy, the New Physics, psychology, anthropology, and the many dimensions of human potential. In 2008, the Jean Houston Foundation was formed to teach Social Artistry in the United States and overseas. If the reader is interested in a lengthy 315-page synopsis of the implications and findings of the effect of the observer on quantum objects then this is the book for you. Paul Levy gives an endless blow by blow reckoning of what some of the great minds in physics think about the strange world of quantum and its implications for enhancing consciousness. For this I give his book a 4-star rating.If the reader, as a spiritual seeker of an enhanced consciousness, is interested in the details of how to become a psychic observer of the quantum world in our universe and learn from its Wisdom then this is not the book for you. This is what I was hoping to learn from this book in order to enhance my opus since I already have a PhD in theoretical physics and am quite familiar with the bizarre Quantum world from its purely physical aspect. I was interested in what its psychic aspect had to offer for an evolution of my consciousness. According to C.G. Jung, psyche and matter cannot be so different from each other at the psychoid level of the archetype, i.e., at the quantum level in matter where the psychophysical world of the wave nature of the unus mundus, the united world, the one world appears.To my dismay, Paul Levy does not provide any details on how an ordinary human can make contact with the psyche at the quantum level in order to benefit their consciousness by becoming an observer of the quantum world. Perhaps he plans to write a sequel to his Quantum Revelation that will make use of his personal experiences in learning from this realm. Hopefully he will share images, body sensations, etc. and their meaning when he is in the “waking dream†or “lucid†dream while meditating. And more importantly what has he learned from the psychic aspect of the quantum world. What is this alien world communicating to him? Paul has the knowledge and experience with his inner world to do so from what I know of his inner work with dreams and other psychic phenomena and his writing skills certainly empower him to convey it to everyone. How about it Paul – are you ready to write a book about your learning experiences from the quantum world that has evolved your consciousness? Maybe it could be called Quantum Disclosure. I look forward to it.
Well, i really wanted to like this book because i am interested in quantum physics and metaphysics and would love to buy into many of the "revelations" Levy presents. A friend recommended this title to me, saying it had helped her (a layman like me) understand quantum mechanics. Unfortunately in my case, that was not the intent or the thrust of the book. Relatively early on, the author discusses the famous double-slit experiment, but doesn't spend nearly enough time on it. The book focuses on the author's view of the many implications quantum physics has for our understanding of reality, but he doesn't (after that first brief discussion) present any of the actual scientific findings that led him to these conclusions. I kept hoping they would show up, but they didn't. So, again unfortunately, the revelations, exciting as they may be, ring hollow without this support.
I've been dipping into this book for about a month and letting it take effect slowly. Like the i ching or some other sacred text, I find myself taking in Paul's perspective in small doses and in a non linear way. Rather than read the whole book at once, it felt like a text that I would study and return to for many years.Paul and I are close friends. Since 2009, when we first met, I've witness him uphold a strong, positive community and help dozens of people find their way through life. His 'awaken in the dream' groups had a profound positive impact on my ability to connect and empathize with others.Back to the book. I have always been peripherally interested in quantum physics, as it seemed to allude to an important truth, but it wasn't until Paul's book that I really grasped the full philosophical spectrum of ideas surrounding quantum physics.Quantum Revelation forms a counterpoint to Paul's previous books, Wetiko and Awakened by Darkness, bringing our attention from Archetypal and Familial darkness, to the 'good news' of this fully realized quantum philosophy. I really appreciate the broad assortment of mystery traditions that he draws from, be it individuals like Jung, Max Planck, and Henri Corbin to Buddhism and Gnosticism.To this point, I don't believe a better book on quantum physics and philosophy has been written. This is certainly Paul's master work to date.
This book is a stream of constant reiteration of the author's opinion, interspersed with non-stop quotes from Jung and notable physicists. Complete waste of time and money.

Since then science believed we live in a physical universe following the laws of Newton. In the very early 20th Century the single greatest discovery made by man proved conclusively that there is no physical universe. Instead, Consciousness is an aspect of the Mind of The Creator, and all who are Aware take part in an integral way in Creation.

It took me a while to get over the author's grandiose use of the King's English, but once I was able to truly focus, I was blown away. The understanding of the Quantum world will forever change our reality once it is fully understood, as well as, ignored at the same time. Mind blowing stuff!
