My son found this very interesting. Finally a way to get him to do more than just play video games.

We bought the first Minecraft Lab book for our girls, and they loved it! So, we had to try this one, too. It was just as fabulous, with fun family activities mixed in with Minecraft-based learning. Can't recommend this enough for learning fun!

My grandson loves this! It is educational and fun!

As a teacher, I'm always looking for new ways to extend my students' learning. Motivation goes a long way with elementary students. I've had colleagues experiment with Minecraft in their classrooms but it just seemed like so much to learn. I tried playing it myself and was attacked by zombies my first night. Needless to say, my kids expected what I didn't.Fast forward to Minecraft STEMLAB for Kids... The Unofficial Minecraft STEM Lab for Kids has both in-game and family projects that teach concepts in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM).My son, Aaron, completed all of the in-game projects and enjoyed doing them. Like dominos, he enjoyed the chain reaction projects and showed them to his sisters and friends. One of the projects has you recreating the solar system in game. Creating an ecosystem inside and outside of Minecraft is also covered in this 114-page book. What science project book would not be complete without a baking soda and vinegar volcano eruption? You’ll be able to cause a volcano to erupt in and outside of this game.One of my daughters, Amber, likes making slime and appreciated the glowing goo recipe found in this book. It should go without saying that some of the projects are messier than others. The only complaint is that according to my son, one of the tutorials asks the reader to craft an elytra cape which is not a craftable item. You can obtain elytras from End ships or cities. Other than that nitpick, this book is highly recommended.This title is available digitally for $11.99 and in a physical format for $19.99. The flexible binding is sturdy and has survived the wear and tear of a ten year old completing it cover to cover. Have smoked fro 30 plus years, tried all sorts of methods, but something in this easy to read book clicked with me. Plus what it also taught me what I was REALLY smoking - something i ignored for decades. I still miss smoking, and i love it when someone else smokes near me, I can have a smell, but so far so good, I am CHOOSING not to smoke........ each day at a time. Its early days for me, 10 weeks or so, but have the book with me, so i can read it again in a couple of months. Good luck to you all out there :)

Learned quite a bit and I'd recommend this inexpensive investment to anyone wanting to quit smoking. It got my attention. i quit.

I think the advice in this book is credible. Makes sense. But if you are a hardcore smoker, it's not enough to make you stop. Also, following this book and buying the suplements and so forth could get VERY expensive very quickly! I did, however, change to organic tobacco because of the advice of this book. I do feel much better and my advice is that even if you are not able to quit, at least do this one step.

I'm 5 days in on my goal to quit. Five days without a cigarette. I've noticed I don't get out of breath while taking a shower, the air in the house in general seems fresh and I'm getting more done because I don't have to stop after every little thing for a cigarette break. The things in this book (and videos) are extremely important for people to know. I'm waiting on the supplements to arrive so I can get my energy and feeling of well-being back in order. I would recommend this book to anyone who needs to know why it's so hard to quit and how to to conquer the void that you think will happen when you quit.

As a prior smoker the information could work for someone. if you are the type to need to be grossed out to stop a bad habit this book is for you.

Great way to stop smoking, without the cravings!!! I highly recommend this book to anyone, who has tried everything, but with no luck.

Wasn't particularly blown away by any means, still a good source of info and motivation. Got to smoking organic pouch tobacco called Yuma up here in Canada. All my smoking accessories are by the company RAW. Much more enjoyable than a conventional smoke ;)

I just downloaded 2 free books on raising chickens. I'm sitting here in the middle of a winter storm making plans for the coming Spring. This is the year I am taking the plunge and will be raising chickens. This book has been especially helpful in its outline of chicken behavior, diseases, and ways to make money. I think I have a general idea of what to expect behavior wise, though my guess is that it will be somewhat like a book on childrearing....this is what might probably could happen, but let's wait and see what your flock really turns out to be like. The section on disease was also a real heads up in emphasizing how important it is to keep a coop clean. But I don't know yet what if anything needs to be put on the floor of the coop. I hadn't even thought of the possibility of selling the compost, even though I had asked my neighbor for some. On the downside, I wished the author wouldn't have bothered with all the pep talk about raising chickens. If I wasn't interested already I wouldn't have looked at the book. Overall I think this little book gave a quick "birds-eye" view of the process without having to dig through an overwhelming amount of information as I begin my journey.Definitely worth the read. Thanks.

I did gain some new ideas and know better options to keep my hens healthy. I am hoping to have a large organic garden and a few hens to provide free range, true free range, eggs. A bit oversimplified. Also, I've been advised not to wash eggs while this author tells you to do it. Naturally, washing an egg seems reasonable; however, there is a complex explanation why not to. Perhaps Ms. Rossi wanted to avoid introducing complexity.

This book was a great jumping off point. If you are not sure where to start, then start with this book. It's a pretty quick read, and the information it contains will establish a firm foundation. You won't be a chicken expert at the end, but it provokes thoughts that will guide you into further study.
