Great book for someone traveling on a regular basis and wishing to make extra money. The book is a resource, not a get-rich-quick scheme. It lists 29 ideas for earning money while on the road in a camper (but it applies to just about anyone who travels). While many of the ideas for earning money may not appeal to you, a few may appeal to your interests and/or skill set. Most of these ideas require internet access, some type of computer, and a certain amount of skill with a computer. Some of these ideas involve having (and knowing how to use) certain software tools, camera equipment, etc.If you were looking for a job, or a regular wage, or a formula for making money, this wouldn't be the right book for you. If you like to hear about ideas that might be helpful to you earning money, then you would probably enjoy reading this book and considering some of the possibilities. It helps to have a bit of imagination, and the desire to work on your own in a unique manner. Like any endeavor, most of these ideas require real work to make a decent and predictable income, and most of them will take some time before earning significant profits.Mr. Myers talks about getting reliable internet service on the road, and has many tips, tricks, and links for further information. For someone with the right mindset, the e-book is well worth the cost.Personally, I greatly enjoyed reading this book, and came away with some great nuggets of information. While I own my own business, I do not own, or plan to own, an RV...
WOW.........which as most of you RV'rs know is an acronym for "workers on wheels".....but it is ALSO a great one word review for this book !! I fully believe, in my humble opinion, that ANYONE can find SOMETHING of interest in this book to use, or rely upon to make money while on the road! (AND-this isn't the old "sell-stuffed-animals-at-truck-stops" plan, either! ) I have been using my truck camper for two,three, and four day getaways, BUT- I HAVE BEEN DOING THIS ALL WRONG! ( If you have read any of my other reviews, you will note that I very rarely buy an eBook, that isn't "free", or, at least costs 99 cents....this is the exception to my "rule".... The author wrote in a consistent,well thought out, and precise manner. It reads well, and works even better! Try this book! If you like to "RV" , you will LOVE it once you can get the "lifestyle" to pay for itself!
This book is packed full of income producing techniques. I'm already using some of the concepts explained in the book, and they work just as explained.I'm looking forward to trying some of the other techniques that I had not thought of. They look interesting and profitable.I found the many links provided to be extremely helpful, and the technique of getting unlimited wireless internet while on the road for $20 a month is priceless. I'm using it, and it works just as it was described.
Once again, Bill delivers. The information about how to set up reliable and (*very*) affordable internet access alone is worth 20 times the price of the book, because whether you apply one of his income ideas or that of someone else, almost all of them depend to one degree or another on having sustainable, reliable connectivity that doesn't turn around and gobble up your profits (or expose you to the too-familiar privacy hazards of using public wifi access)!Another RV book about how to do it, by a guy who does it. Need I say more?
Whether you RV (I don't) or just want some ideas for earning money while you travel (I did) or just want to see some examples of Kindle publishing (I did) this is a great little buy full of interesting tidbits!I learned how to add a fun and potentially profitable side trip to my next vacation, how to get affordable mobile internet, and also some great destinations.Check it out - at the price it's a great purchase.
This book contains some very clever ideas about how to earn money from anywhere. While some of the ideas are not for me due to lack of certain skills, talent or interest, others gave me an " aha" moment! Really got me thinking about some things I can do and would actually enjoy doing. I'm still working a real job, but planning my " escape" as soon as possible. Going to look at my first used motor home this weekend. This book has helped get me inspired! Thank you!
The book included a lot of "thinking out of the box" ideas. He also didn't water things down, he just stated jobs how they are, just matter-of-fact the. And also included pros and cons of each of the jobs well, a lot of the jobs anyway. I appreciated that. I think I'm going to try his template, and perhaps even his wireless internet idea included at the end of the book. I've read many different ways that people connect 2 Wi-Fi on the road, but I've never read about his method. Quick read, only took me a few hours to read this book. And now I own it, and have access to the links and I'd is anytime I want thanks Bill.
There were a lot of great ideas packed into this little book. I plan to try several different ones. What I really like is that for each suggestion, the author explains exactly where to go and how to do what is needed. No guessing or research needed! But THE most valuable chapter in the book is the very last one about how to get affordable high speed internet service that is mobile and accessible even in remote areas!
