Seriously this whole book read like one giant sexcapade. Riley makes a deal with the King. Riley has sex with the king. Riley runs away from the king and gets in trouble. She then has more sex to get her further out of trouble. Seriously, I don't think a single page escaped sex-free.I love Amy Sumida's GodHunter series and several of her other books. I'm not even sure this was written by the same person. It's like she wrote this as a challenge to see how much sex a person can cram into one book (a LOT apparently). To top it off there were several typos and grammatical errors that kept popping up and pulling me out of the story.Basically, I'd skip this one if you're a diehard Sumida fan like me. It's bound to disappoint.

Wow, this was defintely steaming. It seems Riley made a bargin she sometimes wishes she could take back. I love Amy Sumida's other series, this one is way more raunchy than the others, but I still really liked the plot. It seems Riley has to drop her panties to get out of most tricky situations. Honestly, at first I thought Dorstan had like multi-personality disorder or something....so glad the end cleared that up. I really liked this stand alone from Amy. Keep them coming......LOL.

Doesn't hold up as well as the Spellsinger series. The erotica is, well, average, but seems to be forced into the story too often. Reminds me (not in a good way) of the latter half of Laurell Hamilton's "Anita Blake" series.

This book was amazing. I was unsure at first but I'm so glad I kept with it. She definitely needs to write more erotica!!!

I absolutely love anything fae! Amy does an outstanding job bringing forth the darker, forbidden parts of both the unseelie and seelie. Riley makes a " deal, " an understanding, 😈 with the unseelie king to be his slave for the life of her sister, if put in the same situation I would have done it also. What follows, is pure, unadulterated twisted fun! It's a sexy, dark, erotic ride that I scandalously want more of.

Although if you are looking for a book about sex with a little bit of story this is your book. Unlike her God Hunter series and her faire series or even her spellsinger series this book has very little plot. The book revolves around a shallow female lead who gets out of every situation by having sex with who ever is around. The story is about three chapters long in reality.I was looking forward to a strong female character and found something else. ( and yes I know a strong female doesn't mean she kills everything insight) but I found myself rolling my eyes and straight up wondering if there was even a story .I am sorry Amy, I really enjoy your books but this one fell short.

Stories like this are why there need to be content warnings. The 'story' made no sense. Seriously. Every major character was apparently bipolar with how badly they switched between character types. The main character slept with everyTHING she came in contact with. On the run? Sleep with a male dryad, merman, and a pack of cu sidhe while trying to get away. Really? I'm sure she covered lots of distance on her back. She fell in love in a single night.... Twice. This story had no real direction. It was just a female version of wish fulfillment, except this author's wishes are apparently being raped in front of a crowd by lots and lots of creatures.Though after reading the Godhunter series, where the mc gets raped at LEAST once per book it feels like, I guess I shouldn't be surprised. Though I actually read all 25 current books of that due to the story, and just skipped the sex and rapey bits. At least it actually had one. When I picked this one up, I didn't realize it was the same author. I just got it from a recommendation on another book's page. Going from the decent Godhunter and the humorous Spectra book I gave a glowing review to, this is a huge step down...off a cliff.

Wow. Ok. So um yeah this book is erotica. I took away one star because the plot and character development was sorely lacking. But if you want a steamy sex filled book then this is it. It gets pretty imaginative too but you can do that when you're writing in the fairy realm. This book gets straight to the sexy parts. Just about every page is some type of sex scene. I'll be honest- I'm keeping this book around a little bit longer just in time for date night!!!
